I snapped away with my trusty ol' digital camera on Christmas Day, 12/25/08. As a result of my endeavors, you can now feast your eyes on a veritable plethora of pictures of our dogs. To start us off, here's a shot of Dougie, our tri-color Collie, as he's reveling in some of the yet unwrapped presents, discarded papers & eratta in the midst of a very satisfying Christmas morning: Christmas Dog Maggie, our Shetland Sheepdog showdog, was a bit confused about the goings-on that wonderful Christmas morning. Here she is in the center of the picture with a perplexed look on her face: Maggie 12/25/08 BTW, the bottom of the picture also shows a bit of Lyric, Maggie's grandmother. Folks, don't worry too much about Maggie! In no time she was making merry with the rest of the pack.(For those of you who may not know the rnames of the Presto Dogs, they are Lyric, Lily and Declan, all Shetland Sheepdogs, and the aforementioned Dougie, our giant Gulliver in the land of the mini-Lilliputians.) Next, as Lily (our sweetest Sheltie) on the left and Lyric (our elder statesperson) looked up at me, I pressed the shutter button on my trusty ol' camera and caught their collective inquisitive expressions: Lily-Lyric 12/25/08 Lily walked right into the camera's range, prompting me to take this picture. I think she was trying to grab the attention of the Presto Dog First Lady, dressed in green for our wonderful holiday. You can also see Dougie (especially his white collar) in the left-hand side of the picture. He somehow managed to be in just about every shot I took that day: Lily 12/25/08 Doug expresses his appereciation for the gifts he, the other members of the pack and the family received from the Presto Dog First Lady via a gigantic smooch right on the ol' kisser: Doug #2 12/25/08 Next, we see Lily once again as she contemplates what she wants for next Christmas: Lily #2 12/25/08 As our beautiful Christmas drew to a close, Dougie perhaps best emulates how we all felt as he relxes in the brand-new bed he received from Santa earlier that morning: Doug #3 12/25/08 Now, didn't the Presto Dog pack convey that wonderful feelings of what Christmas is all about?
