It's been a while since you've seen any news her. Now, nothing bad has happened...it's just that we've been busy.

Maggie, our new show dog, went to a Sheltie show but didn't fair too well. As a matter of fact, I watched to judge walk right past her...didn't even consider her for a shot at the title!

Anyway, that sort of knocked the wind out of my sails, I gotta admit. Thid is because the very first show she entered, she had done so well. Now, I'm a big boy and should have known that Maggie wasn't that good. But, somehow I got it in my fat head that this (i.e., showing a dog) was gonna be a breeze.

I beleive the applicable expression is: wake up 'n smell the roses!

Goes to show you, you're never too old to learn.
