The other evening, Maggie, our seven month old Sheltie puppy, was chasing after Lily, trying top play with her. But Lily would have none of it; she does didn't want to associate with that darn puppy! In order to get away from her, Lily decided to jump up on our love seat.

But, alas, her efforts were to no avail because the puppy decided to do the same thing!

Since I just happened to have my camera at hand, I was able to snap a shot of the two of them lounging together....here it is:

Now, their relationship is by no means adversarial; it;s just that Lily simply didn't want to play with the puppy at that time.
