I went out with our pack of five dogs yesterday to play in the newly fenced in pasture land at the Presto Dog Phunny Pharm. As always, they all acted as if they haven't been out in years, and my immediate chore was to take their leashes off. After that was done, I was required to kick whatever ball's in the area so they could all chase after it, barking merrily the whole time. We (the dogs, not me!) then settled down to merely walking around and scenting along the fence, trying to see if any animal life has invaded our property.

But yesterday was hot; I'm not sure what the temp was but think it was at least in the high 80s. And the humidity was up, too. Other than Maggie, the crazy puppy with no common sense, none of the pack really felt like running around. In fact, they were all just resting on the grass, taking it easy and tryin' not to expend any energy unnecessarily.

We'll try again today but at 8:45 a.m. it felt like it was going to be another hot one.
