Our two-year old Collie named Dougie had a seizure last night around 9:45 p.m.
I was just coming out of the shower & thought I had heard some strange scratching noises; when I opened the bathroom door I saw the Presto Dog bride talking in a calm, gently voice to our friend. He was just coming out of his problem and struggled to get to his feet. He looked at us af if he didn't remember who we were. And, he was so wobbly on his feet. I walked with him out to the kitchen so he could get a drink and his hind quarters were sort of collapsing; when he turned to leave the room he bumped into one of the walls.
I remained up with Dougie for a little while as my bride changed the bedding in the crate where he was sleeping (he had drooled profusely and wet himself). After his bedding was ready, he was a bit retiscent about going back into the crate; I got the clear impression that the area bore too bad a memory for him.
But, he settled down after some quiet whimpering and by morning was his good ol', gregarious self once again.
