Over the past few weeks, I've mentioned numerous times in my posts that we had to vacate the Presto Dog environs and take the pack to parks, dog food stores and various other places of interest. Granted, packing up four dogs (thrtee Shelties & a Collie) for a short outing isn't the hardest thing in the world to do, but since we did it just about every weekend we were getting a little tired of the activity.

I'm now free to say that all the hustle & bustle was for a reason...we bought a brand new den for the good ol' Presto Dog pack!

The long, drawn-out process of finding a new home for both man and beast (and woman, too!) took darn near five months, several trips back and forth to make sure the area was all we thought it was and countless, yea, countless telephone calls between us, mortgage companies, title companies, attornys, title insurance companies, etc., etc., etc. But we can safely and assuredly say that the new place is now all ours.

As time goes by I'll post particulars about the new home and large tract of land accompanying same. For now, we revel and are truly thankful to one great real estate agent who kept us on track and provided the professional guidance required to close the deal.

I recognize that this is a site devoted to the dog, but unless we have a place to live, romp and play, the updates here would suffer...in fact, they might not have occurred at all! So, now that I've informed all about our recent activities, I'll slowly turn my attention back to postings about Lyric, Lily, Declan and Dougie.

BTW, we decided we're going to name the new place the "Phunny Pharm." Our last name begins with the letters "Ph" and we simply couldn't resist the play on words.

These dogs are gonna love their huge new yard!
