It's the second day of the weekend (Sunday) and we'll be leaving our den in a little while, taking the pack out for a few hours. Our immediate plans are to head to another state park, hopefully this time to see some wild life (squirrels, birds, percahnce a deer if we're lucky).

The one we're heading to has a small farm where sheep reside which are among animals our breeds (Sheltalnd Sheepdogs & a Collie) were made to herd, so you'd think this would be an historic event.

Actually, we've been to this park before, shown our dogs the sheep but neither species could seemingly care less about the other. Perhaps this is due to domestication, but whatever. No herding tendencies are kindled within our pack when the two groups eye each other.

We're also turning over the idea of going to a store called The Hungry Puppy we've heard about that has all kinds of treats, food & assorted other items for animals, with a significant area devoted to our canine friends. You'd think so with a name like the one noted, wouldn't you?

What hopefully will occur by the time the Man in the Moon shares his smiling visage with us once again is that the germ of an idea for a post about the day's activities will have ben implanted in this writer's cranium. So, you might want to check back later this afternoon or tomorrow to see if any pearls of wisdom are recounted here at Presto Dog concerning the events that'll transpire later today.
