Our dogs have a number of toys. Some are for inside; some are for outdoors only. The latter gravitate and are relegated to the outdoor environment basically because they...well, get real dirty.

Now, the blue ball you see in the picture below is not dirty; rather, it was given to Lily 'cause she can carry it in her mouth. An added asset to this ball is the fact that it has a slit in it and she can grab it more easily. As a matter of fact, there are times when she grabs it in her mouth and the slit winds up on her nose, making her appear as if she has a big, blue clown nose. Sort of like Bozo the Clown (for those of you who remember that character) except in a delicate blue motif instead of outrageous red.

I almost had a shot of this funny situation but Dougie, our Collie, grabbed it and ran off quite literally before I could snap the picture.
